A double asphalt challenge awaits the Schio-based team: in Brescia, Stefano Albertini reunites with Danilo Fappani, while alongside him Estonian talent Patrick Enok makes his MS Munaretto debut.

September gets under way with two rallies, two very different cars and three crews to watch for MS Munaretto, as the team splits its forces between the Brescia classic, the Rally 1000 Miglia, and the roads around Pisa for the Rally Casciana Terme.
The headline act of the weekend will inevitably be the 49th Rally 1000 Miglia, where Stefano Albertini and Danilo Fappani return to the cockpit with number 6 on the doors of their Škoda Fabia Rally2, prepared by MS Munaretto. Talking about Albertini on the roads around Brescia means talking about a driver who knows exactly where to place the wheels here: four victories already to his name and, this year, a very real opportunity to go hunting for number five.
That familiarity with the event could prove particularly useful, because the 2026 Rally 1000 Miglia is not planning to make life easy for anyone. Eight special stages and more than 116 competitive kilometres are on the menu, with the 26-kilometre “Pertiche” stage standing out above all. It will be tackled twice on Friday, with the second run taking place in darkness. It is the kind of long test capable of reshuffling the order considerably and one that brings some of the rally’s old-school character back into play.
If Albertini is a known quantity, the second Škoda brings a major new signing to the MS Munaretto line-up. Carrying number 37, Patrick Enok will make his first appearance with the team alongside fellow Estonian Silver Simm. At just 20 years of age, Enok arrives with a CV that already speaks for itself: in 2025 he was crowned Finnish SM2 Champion behind the wheel of a Ford Fiesta Rally3, before making the step up to Rally2 machinery.
And the move up the ladder has done little to slow him down. In July, on the ultra-fast home roads of Rally Estonia, Enok and Simm guided their Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 to sixth place in WRC2, an impressive result on one of the quickest events on the World Rally Championship calendar. The 1000 Miglia will therefore open a new chapter with MS Munaretto: an asphalt debut and, for that very reason, a particularly interesting test of what the young Estonian can do.
From the province of Brescia to the province of Pisa, the team’s second assignment of the weekend will be the 44th Rally Casciana Terme, where Pierangelo Villa will line up with Michael Adam Berni on the notes in the ever-charismatic Renault Clio S1600. It is a car that needs no gimmicks to attract attention: front-wheel drive, a naturally aspirated engine and a driving style that still demands precision and craft – exactly the sort of territory in which Villa knows how to make his mark.
The Tuscan rally will get under way on Saturday, 5 September from Piazza Garibaldi in Casciana Terme Lari, and this year it will feature a rather unusual interlude. Before the competitive action begins, the cars will head to Piazza dei Miracoli in Pisa, returning beneath the Leaning Tower forty years after the passage of the 1986 Rallye Sanremo. Then the stopwatch takes over, with eight special stages covering 70.37 competitive kilometres within a total route of 374.97 kilometres. The finish is scheduled for Sunday afternoon, once again in Casciana Terme Lari.
