Finnish driver Lauri Joona has confirmed his participation in seven events of the 2025 WRC season, driving the Skoda Fabia RS Rally2 under the MS Munaretto banner. This marks a significant milestone for the team’s campaign.
The 28-year-old from Tampere is determined to make a lasting impression in the 2025 WRC2 season, having already showcased his talent in previous years by finishing fourth in the 2024 WRC2 Challenger. Co-driver Samu Vaaleri will join him in the cockpit, completing a strong pairing poised to maximise their potential.

The WRC2 campaign will officially begin with the Rally Sweden, renowned for its fast ice stages that challenge even the most experienced drivers. However, the season for MS Munaretto and Lauri Joona will kick off with the Arctic Lapland Rally in the Rovaniemi area. This iconic event will serve as the ideal testing ground, offering a valuable opportunity to fine-tune the car and team preparations.
