The Finnish youngster confirms his commitment to the Schio-based team after a breakthrough 2025 season. A triple campaign across ERC, CIAR and CIRT awaits with the Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 in its latest specification.
Schio and Finland, still together. Benjamin Korhola will line up for the 2026 season with MS Munaretto, extending a technical and sporting partnership that delivered encouraging results throughout 2025, crowned by a standout victory at Rally del Brunello, a defining milestone in a year of steady progression.
The 22-year-old Finn has once again placed his trust in the Vicenza-based outfit despite attracting significant interest from several teams following last season’s performances. A decision that rewards the entire squad, ready to provide him with a Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 prepared in its latest technical evolutions.
Also for this season, Korhola will once again be supported by Gass Racing, which will continue to stand alongside him in his sporting journey, further strengthening a well-established partnership that has become an integral part of his competitive project.
The 2026 campaign promises to be intense and ambitious. Korhola will tackle a full FIA European Rally Championship (ERC) programme for the first time, entering uncharted territory with the clear objective of measuring himself against Europe’s finest and building experience rally by rally. Alongside this, he will contest the Italian first league championship (CIAR), targeting the Promotion Trophy while continuing to refine the relationship between car and Italian (but not only) asphalt in a focused technical development path.
Equally significant is his commitment to the Italian Gravel Rally Championship (CIRT), where Korhola aims to be a leading contender following the strong performances delivered on loose surfaces last season. Gravel remains a natural habitat for the Finnish driver, who is determined to consolidate the pace and consistency already shown.
