MS MUNARETTO BETWEEN SWEDEN AND TUSCANY

MS Munaretto is set to take on both snow and gravel once again, with Lauri Joona kicking off his WRC season in Umea and the team also competing in the Rally Valle del Tevere in Arezzo on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th February.

Following their strong performance at the Arctic Lapland Rally, Lauri Joona and Samu Vaaleri will team up once again for the only full-snow round of the World Rally Championship. They will take on the challenge in their Skoda Fabia RS Rally2, sporting the number 26. The event covers just over 300 kilometres through Scandinavian snow-covered forests, where the most competitive drivers in the WRC’s fiercest category will battle it out. The rally begins with the Shakedown at its new Strandpromenaden location.

Three MS Munaretto crews will also take the start of the 4th edition of the Rally Valle del Tevere:

Verona’s Luca Hoelbling, a specialist on slippery surfaces, will be paired with Federico Fiorini in a confirmed entry with the Skoda Fabia RS Rally2.The Squarcialupi brothers return to action, with veteran Massimo at the wheel and Giovanni calling the notes. They will once again pilot the Czech machine in its EVO variant.

The well-established duo of Michele Griso and Elia De Guio opt for gravel roads to open their 2025 season, following their first experiences on loose surfaces at the end of 2024. They will continue with their trusted Ford Fiesta R2.

Scuderia Etruria has prepared a high-quality 60-kilometre route, set in a territory that borders Umbria, Marche, and Emilia-Romagna. Its strategic location is expected to attract a strong entry list. The rally will start from Anghiari on Saturday 15th at 12:30, with the overnight regroup also taking place in the historic town.
