A high-octane weekend on all types of terrain and in every corner of Italy: MS Munaretto juggles between IRCup, CIRT and CRZ with five crews.
The first weekend of May lights up an exceptionally intense national rally calendar. Kicking off the action is the 58th Rallye Elba, scheduled for May 2–3, 2025, serving as the opening round of the International Rally Cup.
Among the line-up of the MS Munaretto team is Bostjan Abelj, fresh off his CIARP victory at the Rally Regione Piemonte. He begins his IRCup campaign alongside compatriot Rebeka Kobal, driving a Skoda Fabia Rally2 EVO prepared by MS Munaretto, proudly bearing car number 1.
Under the same banner, but in the Rally4 category, Jaspar Vaher with Rait Jansen on the notes will take part. Driving a Lancia Ypsilon, they are gearing up for yet another tarmac challenge this season with car number 44, following their ERC debut on asphalt.
The event, organized by ACI Livorno Sport under the patronage of the Province of Livorno, will be held on the legendary roads of the Tuscan island, with headquarters in Portoferraio.
Two legs are scheduled: on Friday, May 2, starting at 4:15 PM from Porto Azzurro, the rally will unfold along the eastern part of Elba with two special stages to be tackled in sequence, ending the day with an overnight regroup in Portoferraio from 7:40 PM.
On Saturday, May 3, the race moves to the western side of the island, departing from the service park at 8:55 AM with further timed challenges along well-known and beloved routes for drivers and spectators alike.
A total of six special stages will be run, totaling 87.75 km of timed sections, with 135.88 km of liaisons, for an overall distance of 223.63 km.
But the weekend doesn’t stop at Elba. The 32nd Rally Adriatico, third round of the Italian Gravel Rally Championship (CIRT), will unfold between Cingoli and the rolling Marche hills.
Flying the MS Munaretto flag is Mille Johansson with his trusted co-driver Johan Grönvall, competing with car number 9. The Swedish driver, who finished seventh overall earlier this month at Rally Sierra Morena, now takes on the gravel roads of the Balcony of the Adriatic for the third round of CIRT, once again behind the wheel of a Skoda Fabia RS Rally2.
After Friday’s recce and Saturday morning’s shakedown, the official start will be on Saturday, May 3 at 7:01 PM, while the competitive action unfolds on Sunday, May 4, across 9 special stages, with 74 km of timed sections (250 km total).
MS Munaretto continues its multi-front presence: in CRZ1, Jacopo Araldo and Lorena Boero will be in action with their Skoda Fabia RS Rally2, carrying car number 4. Fresh off a podium finish at the Vigneti Monferrini Rally, they are now ready to tackle the Rally della Valle d’Aosta.
The Aosta Valley rally, now in its 46th edition, returns to Saint-Vincent after thirteen years, boasting over 170 registered crews. The event starts on Saturday, May 3 at 4:31 PM, featuring 6 special stages for a total of 73.50 km.
Finally, MS Munaretto will also be present in Lazio for the 12th edition of Rally Terra di Argil.
The team will field the duo Giovanni Gravante–Marco Lepore, ready to take on 11 special stages over 73.39 km of asphalt, at the wheel of a Skoda Fabia Rally2 EVO.
This CRZ8 round is organized by ASD Rally Game, with shakedown scheduled for Saturday morning on a section of the Monte San Giovanni Campano stage.
