A demanding yet rewarding event for the Schio-based team, which closes the final round of the CIAR Sparco with two crews in the overall top ten and steady progress from all its drivers.
The 2025 Rallye di Sanremo, final round of the Campionato Italiano Assoluto Rally Sparco, proved to be an extremely selective event, testing cars, crews, and strategies to their limits. MS Munaretto approached the Ligurian weekend with determination and strong team spirit, bringing all its drivers to the finish and securing valuable results in a rally with an exceptionally high technical level.
Shining among them was Benjamin Korhola, co-driven by Kristian Temonen, who delivered a race marked by highs and lows and several challenges, yet managed it with maturity and determination. The young Finn finished in an excellent eighth overall and, most notably, claimed victory among the Under 25s, confirming himself as one of the most promising talents of his generation.
The Italian tarmac once again proved demanding, but Lauri Joona, alongside Antti Linnaketo, handled it with remarkable balance and precision. The Finnish driver maintained focus throughout the competition, securing ninth overall and completing a clean, mistake-free performance, reaffirming the consistency and solidity that have long defined his racing style.
It was a more complex weekend for Tuukka Kauppinen and Veli-Pekka Karttunen, who faced various difficulties throughout the rally. Despite that, they managed to reach the finish with determination, achieving fifth place among the Under 25s and in the Rally4 class—a result that reflects their resilience and refusal to give up in the face of adversity.
Also improving over the course of the weekend were Enrico Molo and Giulio Nodari, who, at the wheel of the Lancia Ypsilon Rally4 #73, came close to the top ten in class, showing increasing pace and collecting valuable competitive kilometres on a technical and unpredictable route.
With two crews in the overall top ten and all drivers making it to the finish, MS Munaretto closes the Rallye di Sanremo with the satisfaction of once again confirming its competitiveness and the solidity of its sporting project, even under the most demanding conditions.
